About Us

The Raging Grannies (and Grumpy Gramps) of Rolla are a musical group who sing, play instruments, and convey peaceful protest with a dash of good humor. You do not have to sing well or play an instrument to join. We also focus on fun. We are apt to show up at any time, any place, spreading smiles as we go.

We started on March 10, 2026, the first and only gaggle in the state of Missouri, and word spread fast. We have sung at the Capitol in Jefferson City, at fundraisers, and at more events than we can count. We are very rural, and we sing with a tambourine, wooden sticks, and our newest instrument, a mini-washboard.
